A word from our President 2022.

 

Dear Members,

With the global pandemic, we have learned to gag each other, to stay away from each other, to work like the new payment card terminals, i.e. without contact. All of this in an anxiety-provoking climate, telling us over and over again that being positive is dangerous for others. As if this pandemic wanted to reinforce one of the major trends of recent decades, which is individualism.

And what if coaching was a way of reinforcing our natural immunity to this individualism at a societal level? By encouraging a positive attitude; by taking time out to take stock of ourselves; by revisiting our means of meeting others for richer, more intimate, deeper contacts; by refocusing on the essential.

In this context, EMCC Belgium is there to support you in your professional development: a network of more than 150 professionals with whom to share; discovery workshops and other professionalization workshops; an accreditation system certifying the quality of your work; a professional liability insurance contract tailored to your needs and at the best price; the possibility of giving of yourself for the benefit of the association; and for the past two months, the Belgium Coaching & Mentoring Alliance signed with ICF Belgium with the aim of promoting quality professional coaching and mentoring. I would like to thank all the members who have contributed to the dynamism of our association, and especially the members of the Board of Directors and their respective teams: you are doing an incredible job!
